It is a small, quaint town that has a quaint history.The town of Beekman was formed when four companies were formed to help bring new trade to the area. The first company was established by Charles Swinton. Charles Swinton took over a saw mill that was previously owned by the Wainwright family. It was then that Beekman became known as the Tutoring School.Tutoring for many years was mainly related to teaching with the primary focus being the arts. This allowed for young students who might be interested in music or writing to be able to benefit from tutoring.It is easy to see that these four companies, which formed the original Tutoring School in 1872 had their own unique qualities and it is this history that has influenced the other members of the company. The most important thing Id like to mention is that Americans should especially take up a foreign language, or two or three. It hardly crosses our minds to do so because English is considered the language of the world, especially considering that America isnt exactly a prime location for those of us who are language nerds. So, its up to us to seize every opportunity as much as possible to find the most optimal linguistic resources available to us, even if that means registering on a website conducive to such goals like italki!
